New Journeys

So here I am and it is 2015 and I haven't written in about a year.  I am now working at Robby's day care.  I am still working with yarn but I have also added wire and beads.  If you are on my fb or instagram you can see everything that I have made so far.  

 Here is the Mother's Necklace that I made for me.   I still have items up on Etsy.  My shop name is CrochetinFeonix.  There is lots of earrings and a few necklaces.  I am trying to expand out into other items as well.  I love working with wire and stones. There is also a couple rings.  I have some items that are inspired by a few shows.  I have some for Vampire Diaries and some in mind for Once Upon A Time and The Walking Dead and The Hart of Dixie.  Lemon Briland has some not so flashy items that I LOVE!!  And would love to make some similar to them.  I have some harder wire then I am used to that I can make some bangle bracelets out of so I am excited about that as well.  

     The kids and I are doing ok.  Can you believe that Alexi is 17 years old?  I keep telling her that she is making me old on occasion LMAO.  Then I remind her that she is getting old as well LOL.  Jon is 14 almost 15 and wanting to go to Military school.  He is hoping that it will feed right into the Military.  Something he has wanted to do since he was little.  Emma is going to be 10 this year and dislikes school as much as the rest of them.  Robby will be 4!!  Time sure does fly!  I have told the kids that when Emma graduates Robby and I get to move where ever we decide to go LOL.He will be 12 or 13.  I keep thinking of all the places that I might want to relocate LMAO.  Robby has since told Lexi that she is not allowed to move out.  I am not sure if she will follow us or go on her own LOL.  

Well Now I am off here to go see about making a few more items before I have to go pick up Emma from her dads house.

2013.

2013 has not been as calm as I had hoped for. Almost but not quite. All 5 of us are in a two bedroom. I am looking for a house to purchase. Excited that I will be looking at one on Saturday.  It is only a 3 bedroom but we will make do with that. Lol. After a 2 bedroom it should be a cake walk. Jonathon is now a teenager, Emma 8, Robby 2, and Alexis is going to be 16 in 2 months. I remember when they were all just little bitty babies. 

 There are so many pins on Pinterest that I can't wait to try. Book nooks all over the place. I want to TRY to build one for each munchkin. I won't have to worry about carpets if we can get the house I will be looking at. It has hardwood floors. Lots of pins for the kitchen, living room and bathroom as well. And a garage I can use for storage and a pantry. I have a goal of getting my license by the end of the year. And a car shortly after. And best of all. I have been with Condomania.com for 18 months this month. And I have a business license for The Crochetin Feonix as well. Still trying to get stuff set up with that as well. I know of a little sandwich place I will be able to sell some stuff in as well.

Wrenches and Life

Well life has gotten better even tho me and all 4 chillens are in a two bedroom apt. I am looking for a house that I can afford to buy. I am sick of renting. Even if I have to find a way to pay to fix appliances and what not. I am starting to sell Tastefully Simple (website will follow when set up). And I love working for Nicole at Condomania.  I have finished my first major crochet project for a friend. We traded services :) that was awesome since I do not know how to can. The wrenches are the usual ones. Paperwork paperwork paperwork. I can not stress to you how much I wish it could all be done and over with so worry didn't set in at random times of the day :( here is a flash pic at said project lol.

2012

I am so glad that 2012 will be over in a few short hours.  I look forward to 2013 with new eyes and LOTS of crafts to try out.  2012 was very very stressful for me and the kids.  I get that a lot of people have stressful years.  Mine was so bad that I didnt even crochet till November!!!  I have lots of things I want to make.  whether it is crochet or a new recipe!

In March I got a new job working for Condomania.com  I love it there.  My boss and co-worker are great.  I moved from Blaine to Ferndale.  I still need a car and license.  That WILL happen this Spring.  I will be starting to work out again and get to the weight that I want. 

I will be posting a list of the things that I want to do this year.  As well as a few links to what I am talking so that everyone can see them.

My Hats

I have been on a trend of Hats.  Alexis, Jonathon, Kelsey, Emma, Robby, Marvin and Alexis' friend Kylie all have one now.  They are easy and work up in about 1.5 hours if I dont get stopped.  The following are pictures of a few of the Hats.  Not in any order LOL.  I hope everyone enjoys them :).  They are insipred by Dot's ugly But Warm hat you can find here...... I didn't use dc though and different stitches and I didn't use 2 strands of yarn.  LOL.  But I have made her hats before and wanted to try my hand at a pattern myself.

First Hike

 Here is Robby's first Hike pic.  He was awake for most of the 2.5 mile hike down.  At least the part of it that was light out LOL. He loves being outside already.  Very curious as to whats going on around him.  And he HATES Tummy Time cause his Big Sisy Lexi picks him up at the slightest sound he makes LOL.

This is what the Lake looks like!  So beautiful!  Pine Lake WA.  Just a little hole in the ground compaired to other lakes but still gorgeous!

See he Loves his big sissy!!!!  And will fall asleep with her in ANY position LOL.

Robby!!!

  Here is my little man Robert Alexander.  He was born on 7/29/11.  He had Meconium in the placenta with him and he aspirated on it and was medivaced to Providence at Everett where him and I stayed for a week while they gave him meds and made sure he could breath on his own.  It was the longest week ever.  I am not sure cause no one told me but I think that we almost lost him and thats why the sent him to Everett.  We didnt even get to hold him for 4 days.  Lexi was in the room with me and Marvin when I delivered him.  She was his first family contact before they whisked him away.  That was the longest night of my life.  Knowing he was in Everett and sick and I had to wait to be discharged from St Joe's. He is doing wonderfully now :)

Me and Me LOL

Well Morning sickness is finally over!  I found out that I am having a bouncing baby boy!  And boy do I mean BOUNCING LOL!  Robert Alexander is his name :D  He moves ALL the time just Like Emma did!  I am still wanting to crochet me something LOL.  Except I have to make a baby blanket too :)  I was thinking light blue and light brown.  Showed the colors to Marvin and he liked them as well.  Dont know what pattern to make yet But I will figure it out and post it on here unless I make one up :).  I am still wanting to sell stuff.  I have been messing around with business cards again as well.  I wanted to add my Very basic photography on to it as well as crocheting.  But I thought I could make calendars and stuff as well and incorporate both Photography and Crochet together for that :)  Been looking around the net for inspiration and I came across a website that was showing yarn and beads in a bowl and Lexi said I should make a calendar so i will be looking into different ideas.  I have a bunch of my Grandmothers teacups and things so I thought why not :)  I can use my thread and yarn as well :)  And with everything blooming I can use flowers too :) I just need to get out more with the cam :)  We have been hiking just about every weekend :)  Been to places I didnt even know was here in Whatcom County LMAO!!

Sweater for me.

I am attempting to make this for myself today.  I will have to figure out how to make it a bigger size as she only made it for a small and medium.  I want something awesome that I have made for myself LOL.  I also have a book full of granny squares to chose from.  Will post a pic when I decide how to do this sweater.

Hey guys long time not typing.  Right now I have been battling with a Migraine for almost 2 weeks straight.  I have a Ct Scan scheduled for next Monday and a Neurology appt for next Friday.  I am very nervous about it and dont know what is going to happen.

I have not crocheted anything since my cortisone shot.  I have been to nervous about that as well.  When I got the shot it was very bad and my wrist froze for 6 days and swelled up and hurt so freakin bad.   

The picture above was taken at the park down by the Bellweather Hotel off of Holly Street in Downtown Bellingham.  We took the dog to try and get her Socialized as much as possible.......Doesnt help when there is a huge gorgeous female Rottweiler having a picnic with her person.  She did not like the dock very much either LOL.

The kids are enjoying Karate ALOT.  I have to call the doc tomorrow to make sure that Lexi can go back on the Floor.  She was very angry when he told her she couldnt do it for a month.  She has had a prolonged scapula muscle strain.  It has been a month and now she is so ready to go back on the floor.  She is mad that she might not belt up to the next level.

I am thinking that when I am not at this job anymore I might look into some of the classes at the center for weight loss and I am thinking that I will get to learn how to protect myself for when I go walking LMAO.  This is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time and now the weather has gotten better.

I hate not being able to crochet..

Well I finally went to the doc's and I am finally posting about it.  The doc said I def have carpal tunnel and severe tendonitis in my right thumb.  He wants me to have the surgery.  I get to be in a splint for about another 2 weeks or so and go see the doc on the 1st of Dec.  I want to crochet so badly right now!!!   I found a pattern here on blogger for Bella's hat from Twilight.  Here is the pattern link....       http://aprildraven.blogspot.com/2009/09/bellas-hat-free-pattern-twilight.html 
I want to make it for Lexi for Christmas.  There is also the mitten pattern that she wears to although crocheted which is fine since I dont knit LOL.  I want to try today to see if I can grip the hook and move everything with my left havd.  I am jonsing pretty badly LOL.

I also have been working full tim e at my part time job.  However they just cut me back to 8 hours a week starting next week.  I am really bummed out about it but we will see how everything pans out.  If not then at least I can get agreat Ref from my boss :D

Well I am still looking for work :( With out much luck either. I have a few places to check in on tomorrow tho. Wish Me some Luck please. I am looking for anything but fast food at this point.

I am also going to start making stuff to have set so that I will have some stock. I think that I will start a website and sell my stuff there to start. I just don't know which site to sell it in tho. Any ideas?  These are 2 of my business cards that I am thinking about using!  What do ya'll think?

Here is Lexi's new book mark. She asked for another one. She wanted red white and blue and I have yet to figure out how to make them in a row LMAO....I will sit down and figure it out and write up a pattern tho
Jonathon has yet to pick out a color for his lol. And then I need to think up a dif pattern for Bub I am not sure a Pineapple would be good for a 9 yo Kiddo LOL.

I am wanting to sell my stuff still and thinking of places to do it at. I have suggestions for the Farmers Market. But I don't have enough stuff made to go there till next year. Although I def plan on it. I was thinking EBay as well and various stores in town (they want 40% lol)

Hmm

Well I take my last mid term tomorrow. I am not doing as well in these classes as last quarter. But I have also had knee surgery and am still trying to get better from that. I will be turning in a Crap ton of Lab work tomorrow tho and that will at least boost up 2 grades LOL. The Math is what is getting me!!....I HAT MATH!!! Always have and probably always will LMAO.

Random Junk

Well this week the kids are supposed to be back in school after Spring Break....And it is supposed to be my second week back LOL.....
Yesterday I had to take the girls to the docs and miss my dentist (rescheduled for Friday). Both Girls have Strep Throat. Today I have an MRI Test on my knee to figure out what is Wrong with it....Bout Damn time!!! I am sick of being in pain from it.
And to top it off the girls are not the only ones sick...I am getting some form of crud that is going around.

I haven't crocheted a lot since we moved into the new apt. However I am going to finish Jareth's Blanket which should be easy 2 squares and to put it together. And then I mail it on the First. I am just sorry it is so late LOL. I also have to catch up on a crochet along in my RCC Group.....Only 2 sets behind for that one so it will be easy to catch up...I hope LOL.
