I have been on a trend of Hats. Alexis, Jonathon, Kelsey, Emma, Robby, Marvin and Alexis' friend Kylie all have one now. They are easy and work up in about 1.5 hours if I dont get stopped. The following are pictures of a few of the Hats. Not in any order LOL. I hope everyone enjoys them :). They are insipred by Dot's ugly But Warm hat you can find here...... Dot's Ugly But Warm Hat
I didn't use dc though and different stitches and I didn't use 2 strands of yarn. LOL. But I have made her hats before and wanted to try my hand at a pattern myself.

First Hike

Here is Robby's first Hike pic. He was awake for most of the 2.5 mile hike down. At least the part of it that was light out LOL. He loves being outside already. Very curious as to whats going on around him. And he HATES Tummy Time cause his Big Sisy Lexi picks him up at the slightest sound he makes LOL.

This is what the Lake looks like! So beautiful! Pine Lake WA. Just a little hole in the ground compaired to other lakes but still gorgeous!

See he Loves his big sissy!!!! And will fall asleep with her in ANY position LOL.

Here is my little man Robert Alexander. He was born on 7/29/11. He had Meconium in the placenta with him and he aspirated on it and was medivaced to Providence at Everett where him and I stayed for a week while they gave him meds and made sure he could breath on his own. It was the longest week ever. I am not sure cause no one told me but I think that we almost lost him and thats why the sent him to Everett. We didnt even get to hold him for 4 days. Lexi was in the room with me and Marvin when I delivered him. She was his first family contact before they whisked him away. That was the longest night of my life. Knowing he was in Everett and sick and I had to wait to be discharged from St Joe's. He is doing wonderfully now :)

Well Morning sickness is finally over! I found out that I am having a bouncing baby boy! And boy do I mean BOUNCING LOL! Robert Alexander is his name :D He moves ALL the time just Like Emma did! I am still wanting to crochet me something LOL. Except I have to make a baby blanket too :) I was thinking light blue and light brown. Showed the colors to Marvin and he liked them as well. Dont know what pattern to make yet But I will figure it out and post it on here unless I make one up :). I am still wanting to sell stuff. I have been messing around with business cards again as well. I wanted to add my Very basic photography on to it as well as crocheting. But I thought I could make calendars and stuff as well and incorporate both Photography and Crochet together for that :) Been looking around the net for inspiration and I came across a website that was showing yarn and beads in a bowl and Lexi said I should make a calendar so i will be looking into different ideas. I have a bunch of my Grandmothers teacups and things so I thought why not :) I can use my thread and yarn as well :) And with everything blooming I can use flowers too :) I just need to get out more with the cam :) We have been hiking just about every weekend :) Been to places I didnt even know was here in Whatcom County LMAO!!

Hey guys long time not typing. Right now I have been battling with a Migraine for almost 2 weeks straight. I have a Ct Scan scheduled for next Monday and a Neurology appt for next Friday. I am very nervous about it and dont know what is going to happen.

I have not crocheted anything since my cortisone shot. I have been to nervous about that as well. When I got the shot it was very bad and my wrist froze for 6 days and swelled up and hurt so freakin bad.

The picture above was taken at the park down by the Bellweather Hotel off of Holly Street in Downtown Bellingham. We took the dog to try and get her Socialized as much as possible.......Doesnt help when there is a huge gorgeous female Rottweiler having a picnic with her person. She did not like the dock very much either LOL.

The kids are enjoying Karate ALOT. I have to call the doc tomorrow to make sure that Lexi can go back on the Floor. She was very angry when he told her she couldnt do it for a month. She has had a prolonged scapula muscle strain. It has been a month and now she is so ready to go back on the floor. She is mad that she might not belt up to the next level.

I am thinking that when I am not at this job anymore I might look into some of the classes at the center for weight loss and I am thinking that I will get to learn how to protect myself for when I go walking LMAO. This is something that I have been wanting to do for a long time and now the weather has gotten better.

Well I finally went to the doc's and I am finally posting about it. The doc said I def have carpal tunnel and severe tendonitis in my right thumb. He wants me to have the surgery. I get to be in a splint for about another 2 weeks or so and go see the doc on the 1st of Dec. I want to crochet so badly right now!!! I found a pattern here on blogger for Bella's hat from Twilight. I want to make it for Lexi for Christmas. There is also the mitten pattern that she wears to although crocheted which is fine since I dont knit LOL. I want to try today to see if I can grip the hook and move everything with my left havd. I am jonsing pretty badly LOL.

I also have been working full tim e at my part time job. However they just cut me back to 8 hours a week starting next week. I am really bummed out about it but we will see how everything pans out. If not then at least I can get agreat Ref from my boss :D

Well I am still looking for work :( With out much luck either. I have a few places to check in on tomorrow tho. Wish Me some Luck please. I am looking for anything but fast food at this point.

I am also going to start making stuff to have set so that I will have some stock. I think that I will start a website and sell my stuff there to start. I just don't know which site to sell it in tho. Any ideas? These are 2 of my business cards that I am thinking about using! What do ya'll think?

Well I take my last mid term tomorrow. I am not doing as well in these classes as last quarter. But I have also had knee surgery and am still trying to get better from that. I will be turning in a Crap ton of Lab work tomorrow tho and that will at least boost up 2 grades LOL. The Math is what is getting me!!....I HAT MATH!!! Always have and probably always will LMAO.

Well this week the kids are supposed to be back in school after Spring Break....And it is supposed to be my second week back LOL.....
Yesterday I had to take the girls to the docs and miss my dentist (rescheduled for Friday). Both Girls have Strep Throat. Today I have an MRI Test on my knee to figure out what is Wrong with it....Bout Damn time!!! I am sick of being in pain from it.
And to top it off the girls are not the only ones sick...I am getting some form of crud that is going around.

I haven't crocheted a lot since we moved into the new apt. However I am going to finish Jareth's Blanket which should be easy 2 squares and to put it together. And then I mail it on the First. I am just sorry it is so late LOL. I also have to catch up on a crochet along in my RCC Group.....Only 2 sets behind for that one so it will be easy to catch up...I hope LOL.

I have a few patterns that I want to post soon. One is for a headband and the second is another Wrist warmer pattern lol. These ones are for Mack. Lexi's friend. I am hoping to be able to have them tested by 2 Wonderful friends of mine before I post them up here. I will take a picture of them on Mack tomorrow at Jonathon's Birthday Party. He is now 9 and loving it LOL. So expect a few posts tomorrow LOL. One of Bday pics and another with Mack :D

Some good news about school. I am passing my classes so far :D. Quarter 1 is almost over. I am still excited to be in school. Although some days are better then others LOL. But that is just like most people that go to school for anything. I remember in high school I HATED school.

I have reconnected with a few friends from school. Actually hung out with one and her kiddos the other night. We all had a blast. Watched a movie and ate dinner. Hoping to do it again soon. Gald to have another Adult to talk to :D

How is everyone doing? I am alright. Having a few problems with Excel. But I will ask her about it today when I go into class.
I will be starting physical Therapy for my knee soon. The Knee Cap is grinding in the joint causing me some pain in there. If PT doesn't work the Doc wants to refer me to an Orthopedic surgeon that worked with me before on my other knee back before I had kiddos. I get to wear a brace on my knee and ice it....which is too cold LOL.

Well this year I am making the kids some stuff for Christmas.....I was going to post some pics up HOWEVER......I will take one of the stuff with them. I dont want them to accidentally open this page LOL. I am also making my mom some stuff as well.I am done with several things already.

I will take a pic of Alexis in her poncho I made her and of Jonathon in his sweater. The Poncho was going to be for Christmas But it looked awefully small so I had to have her try it on LOL. But al her friends like it. I made it in Meridian School Colors :D

Row 1: Hdc in sec ch from the hook; Hdc across.
Row 2: Hdc in both loops of first st; Hdc in Back Loops Only across to last Hdc; Hdc in both loops of last stitch.
Row 3 Thru however wide you need it for your arms. Repeat Row 2

Joining: Ch 1 Slip Stitch together acrossthe bottom side and the back loops of each stitch at this point if you want thumb holes you can choose to put them in my just dropping one side of the peice and slip stitching across a few stitches for your thumb. I did not like it thou LOL. Slip Stitch to the end and fasten off. Weave in Ends

Well I do not have the net at my house for the moment. I will be coming on here several times a month at the library.
I am still Job hunting and doing what I need to to get into school.
Last night and this morning I made all 3 kids the UBW hat by Dot Matthews. They all love them. I adjusted the pattern a little bit and changed it up in a few places. Wondering if that makes it a new pattern. I am not sure. I know that the first 3 rounds are the same. I joined it with the Magic Ring Method as well. And then didnt use the same stitches or anything lol.

Hmm Thoughts

Well last night I started and almost finished a bear. Emma asked me to make her one after her and Jonathon had a tiff about his bear lol. I used the one at Rheatheylia.com again. But this time I wanted the head and body to be proportionate to each other so I used 2 dif sized hooks for the head and the body and limbs. I will post a pic up as soon as I have one of it finished.

I also am going to see if any of 4 yarn stores on the bus route are hiring and turn in applications. I also turned in one at Verizonwireless.com lol Kind of hoping for that one. Wouldnt mind it if they offered free service like TMobile. LOL.

And I am getting nervous about taking the assessment test on the first to see what level of Math and English I have to take.

If anyone reads this Please send out some prayers for me and the kids in this time of me with no job.

Well the one of Emma was taken tonight. She Lieks her Flippy Flops.....Now I have NO CLUE where she got Flippy Flops out of Slippers but she did. I think it is Cute lol......Now the ones of Bub and Lex were taken yesterday by themselves.....at 2 separate times of the day LOL....I think they both had the same thing on their minds LMBO!!!

I have an appt with BTC on Friday to help with financial stuff for school. Wish me luck please. I also have homework :D The lady in the Admin Office gave me a book to study for the Assessment test that I take on the First of Oct. :D Kinda nervous but I know that I can handle it especially since it is something I want BADLY lol.

So I wrote a pattern. I am testing it right now to make sure I can get it right with the second Sleeve. LMAO!!!

Here are the pics to the Bookmark pattern that I posted before. I wanted the close up of the stitch I love my camera lol and here is a pic of MOST of the book mark lol. I wanted to show the whole thing but I wanted the stitches to show more lol and the whole thing didnt want to fit in to the frame lol. Alexis chose the black ribbon to go with the baby pink.

I am going to make her a black one since she is liking black ALOT right now. I am not going to tell her no she cant wear it or paint her nails black. I know that she will probably jsut grow out of the whole Black being a fave color. I think that is it friends that are influencing it a little bit.

Round 1: Ch 2 * 3Dc, ch3 Picot on top of 3rd Dc, 3Dc in ch 2 Space. 2Sc in next ch across*. In the end space 3Dc, ch3 Picot, 3Dc, 3Sc, 3Dc, ch3 picot 3Dc. Repeat from *to* Across.

Well I just took a words per minute test online. I type 29 wpm LOL. I feel that that is really slow. So I will be practicing alot on that site that I found just to get it up there so that I can type faster. I also need to learn not to look at my fingers while I am typing lol. I never could master that in school either. Not doing to well on knowing where the letters are while I am typing lol.

Finally Finished

I am finally finished with this Lapghan. You can Kinda see it. Emma said that she had to Test it. Where she heard that from I am not sure LOL. But she cozied right up with it last night. I do have to mail it out sometime soon. I just hope the receiver likes it.

I am in the process of making my own shrug right now. I have the body almost done. The Fruits of staying up till 3:30 am lol. I just didnt want to put it down. I should have it finished tonight or at least the body of it finished. I have talked about making me one for work. Well now I have started one lol. I will post it here when I figure out how to rewrite it for other sizes lol. It shouldn't be too hard tho. It is just Dc's and Hdc's so we will see.

This pic was taken on Friday out at Birch Bay. We went out there with my mom and messed around with the sand and the camera. And Aunt Cynthia came out and visited as well :D

Well Emma isnt the only one of us sick :( We are all now sick. lex and Bub coughing me and Emma with fevers and coughing. Well it is a little better tonight then yesterday.

We will still be going to my Class reunion Picnic tomorrow afternoon. If I can get us there that is.

But if not we will veg out all day enjoying the quiet........Oh wait we will all be coughing...... Anyways, I have Monday off as well. So 5 days off and we are all sick dammit. At least I go to work Tuesday and have 2 days off LMAO. I still cant believe they gave me an extra day....Too bad it isnt paid as well lol. That is ok tho.

I cant wait for the Indy movie to come out on DVD. The kids are enjoying the other 3. I am glad they are liking the movies that I grew up on :D I have been keeping tabs on who will be in Transformers 2 for them as well.

Well tonight at 8:37 Emma will be 3. She is all smiles today after she woke up....Which is a good thing since sometimes she wakes up grumpy lol. I told her Happy Birthday and she Jumped up and down screaming WooHoo!! lol Lex and Bub went to summer school so I kinda think they forgot since they didnt say anything to her when she woke up before they left. Her party will be on Saturday The manager to my apts will be doing face painting :D Which I am sure all the kids will find a blast.

This is one of the many walks that we have taken on my days off. We are going to the beach today I will be bringing the camera as well. See what kind of pics we can all get out there lol. They LOVE the camera. I need to get them one of there own sometime and help them learn how to use them. They are doing good with mine.

I want to take photo classes when I finally do go to college ( HOPEFULLY this fall). I am not sure what to do first tho. The beauty school or WCC. I will have to flip a coin and figure it out LOL. I want to change jobs as well. But there are advantages to working where I do. The Commission for one. I get to work with Natalie :D I get a discount on expensive clothes.....All of which I buy in clearance LMAO.

Well I just need to find a way to make a mouth for this Young Bear and it can go to it's Owner. I used the pattern from Rheatheylia.com It is the Beary Jackson Pattern. Now when she comes over and I am watching Ghost Hunters she has something to Cuddle lol.

I think that it kinda looks funny. The head at least. BUT it is also my first attempt at a stuffed animal :D. I know several people who will want one :D LMBO!!!

The kids and I are doing fine. I hope that everyone has a safe and Wonderful 4th of July :D

No Luck

Well I didnt get the job. However they told me to apply for other jobs in the company. So I had to go buy some printer ink so that I can print up more of the apps.

The day that I took these pics Lexie left us a trail of flowers in the trees when she kept walking and we stopped to take pics of other flowers. I decided to take a few pics of the trail she left for us. I think with it being Summer time out now we will be taking some more walks with the camera even if we take the bus down town to walk around or maybe to the Fairhaven district. I think they would have a blast over that way and down by the ferry term. Plus there is the bead shop down that way LOL. I want the kids to pic out a bead or to so that I can make them some book marks for the books they are reading. Jonathon is reading The Hardy Boys and Alexis is reading Nancy Drew. Jonathon read the first in the series in about 5 days or so. Alexis has also read the book Number The Stars, it is about the Holicost, she couldnt put it down a few years ago. Took her about 4- 5 days to read it. And read she did, while she ate breakfast, after she got done getting ready for school, on the way to the bus stop, on the bus, on the way home from the bus stop, after she did homework, while she ate dinner and untill she went to bed LOL. I am not sure how much of it she read at school tho lol. I am just glad that she will read some of the true stories that are out there and not just all fiction. But I am also proud of Jonathon cause not many boys read alot lol. And he is VERY interested in the Hardy Boys. And there is Emma who grabs anything with pics and words in it and will tell her own story. And just about any toy turns into a cell phone LOL. But she loves to listen to stories. Well as much as she will let me read of them lol.

Well I am off here now to get some sleep for work tomorrow. Today started my 6 day run.

Waiting

Well I am just waiting for the new job to call and tell me if I got it or not. Please Pray for me. It is a full time days with weekends off. So it will be better then Macy*s. I am so sick of clothes and ready for a change. But this will allow me to be able to go to school in the evenings in the fall. Something I have wanted to do all year we school but my schedule wont allow that at Macy*s.

Another thing. I will have to go into my doc's about my wrists and I am kinda scared about it. He said if I kept coming in for them he was going to talk to me about the Surgery. I am not so sure about it. Right now they are both bothering me tho which scares me just as bad if not more. He has told me to stop typing and crocheting and I just cant do that. They are my sanity LOL.

Well I am off to get the kids ready for school.

Here is Emma's Victory dance after using the potty this morning :D She was Screaming "Wooo Hooo" REALLY high pitched lol. She really wanted that sucker LOL. And look at that you can see a little red in her hair from the sun lol. She gets pretty excited to go potty :D Which is a good thing. I hope that it wont take too long lol.

Our Walk

Well the kids and I went for a walk with a friend of mine yesterday. I took the camera with me and got some good pix of the kids, some flowers, a bee, and we got a new Family pic as well. I posted it as my profile pic on here. This is one of my faves of the kids. I will save this one to disk and print it out at walmart for the wall :D

I had a wonderful 3 days off. Kinda dread going back to work tho. I am not looking forward to the mess today and boy do I know that there will be one! I am applying at another job as soon as I can find th website for it LOL. It is a day time week day job so I get to pick to be there after the kids elave for scholl and be home before they get here :D Well will see how that works. Please send up some prayers that I can find the site and then get the job :D

Here is a piccy of the Kiddo's. This was taken at the Ski to Sea Parade in Bellingham. I was at work but they had a blast anyways. :D

Now that I have a dresser I will be able to not live off the dryer on my work days LOL. But I am going to be bringing some hangers home for my work pants too.

I will be selling some stuff on Ebay on my friends page. I will post a link here when I have stuff for her to sell.

I will post a pic of me and the kids as soon as I get one :D. On here I will also talk about school when I get into it lol. I will be either going to the Beauty School or the Comm College not sure which one I want to do first. I was thinking the Beauty School tho. Then I can cut the kids hair myself LOL. But then I am sure that I can pretty much pick my own hours then. But I am not just going for hair. I will be going in for nails and hair as well.

My Blanket

I chose Caron Bright colors Rubine Red and Soft Yellow for my blanket. This pic doesnt do justice to the colors tho. i will have to take it outside when i am done to get a better pic. I am using the rectangle granny square pattern. I am also making it in varigated blues. The one is going to be beautiful when that one is done.
